ABOUT

I’ve loved to bake since I was very young and in January 2021 I created my Instagram account @maiabakes_ which you can access here. From creating my account I’ve baked much more from tiered cakes to brownies, cookies, cheesecakes and more! The baking community online is so incredible, from collabs, support groups and just everyone being so so talented and promoting and engaging with everyone! So thank you <3 

A bit more about me - I love to bake (if you didn’t get that from above) but I also love to play and listen to music☺️ I also love to ski - it’s my favourite thing to do besides baking and I’ve been doing it since I was 3. I live right by Whitley Bay beach and I go paddle boarding and swimming most summers. I have 3 cats - there are several bakes inspired by them on my account - they’re called Polly, Navy and Bobble. We adopted Bobble as a kitten in September 23 and she is so sweet! Finally, I absolutely love food! And creating my own recipes is so much fun - please check out my other pages for some of my recipes.

Throughout the website you will find lots of my previous bakes, from customised cakes to bespoke bakes. You can choose a classic design or we can work together to create a design that's completely unique to you!
